New Mother Abbess!

 Last Wednesday, September 22nd, our community held its Triennial Elections.  We now have a new Mother Abbess!  Her name is Mother Mary Joyce of the Holy Spirit.  The picture above was taken when we celebrated her Silver Jubilee of Profession in 2016.  She came to us from India about 11 years ago.  Her "2nd in command" whom we call our Mother Vicaress, is Mother Mary Therese who had served as our Mother Abbess for 10 years.  She still has plenty to do, especially teaching our new Mother her new role.  Pray for them both and for us as we go forward into this new chapter of our community history!
