A Prayer to Our Lady Mother of the Church

Blessed Lady, Mother of Jesus and our own Mother, You faithfully accompanied your Son the Way of the Cross and courageously stood by Him in His Crucifixion and death.  You said no word, yet your heart was one with His Heart in His sacrifice to the Father on behalf of us.  As you were for Him on Calvary, be now a faithful, loving Mother to all who continue His Passion o earth.  Support them in their pain, comfort them in their sorrow.  Let none despair but all be lifted up in hope.  bring them all through the darkness of death to the light of the Resurrection.  We as consecrated women are called to share in your mission to support the weak and frail members of your Son’s Mystical Body.  Pray for us that we may be faithful to Him who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.
