Rising to New Life
Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen! And we shall all rise up with Him. Meanwhile, we experience the daily events of life as a series of dyings and risings. Here at Bethlehem Monastery we are in the last stages of preparation for the Solemn Profession of our Sister Chiara Marie. Here she is on the day of her First Profession of Vows five years ago: Although five years older, she looks more radiant than ever! Pictures of the ceremony will soon follow. At the same time, our Sister Mary Antonette is in the last stages of her life journey. It seems that for the moment she has rallied, a window of mercy given to us at this time, but which probably will not last for very long. Here she is many years ago on her own Solemn Profession Day: Please keep both of our Sisters in prayer.
