Golden Jubilee of St. Antonette
We recently celebrated the Golden Jubilee of our Sister Mary Antonette. Part of the celebration was a slide show that we put together using her own personal pictures as well as photos from our community albums. The accompanying music is a bit more rhythmic than is our usual wont since she is a child of the “60’s and still enjoys a modern beat. Sister Antonette has a unique history among cloistered Poor Clare Nuns who generally stay put in one monastery for the duration of their monastic lives. She entered a monastery is Roswell, New Mexico and was then sent to us here in Virginia to assist in a time of need. She was then sent to found a new monastery in the Netherlands. After about 20 years, she returned to us. Here is a loving representation of her journey:

Love the music -- it's my era, also.
Hope you all had a Blessed St Clare feast day. May I ask for your prayers for my family and my daughter Clare Teresa.
