Mercy Sunday, Easter Newsletter

Peace be with you!  Our Lord greets His disciples and all of us with this gift of His peace while at the same time showing us His wounds.  We must indeed face the fact of our sinfulness, acknowledge it and stretch out our hands to receive His mercy.  Otherwise, His forgiveness will not "take" in our souls and there will be no true reconciliation. We will consider it cheap, a kind of "free pass" from an indulgent and naïve benefactor.  No, our redemption is costly, though freely offered.  Let us take it with joy and in turn offer our forgiveness to "those who have sinned against us", thus doing our share of peacemaking in the world.

Below is our Easter Newsletter.  Blessed Eastertide celebration to all!

I haven't heard anything recently about the two girls Cheyenne and Phoenix Paradiso, who entered a Poor Clare convent a few years ago. Are they still there? They were so inspiring. And a blessed Easter to you all!

It was a difficult decision, but they have returned to their family. We keep in contact and they will always be a part of us.
