Sister Immaculee makes First Profession

Yesterday, March 18, is the day we celebrate the Profession of our Mother St. Clare.  It was on this day in the year 1212 that she left her home and joined the family of St. Francis to become the first of his Poor Ladies, later known as Poor Clares.  We celebrated in grand style by having our own Profession ceremony.  Our Sister Marie Immaculee made her First Holy Profession of Vows during Mass in our chapel.  Here are some highlights of this happy day

Mother Abbess' prayer:

May our Sister Immaculee always appear adorned for her divine Bridegroom Jesus, in all splendor of grace, as she is consecrated to Him in the Holy Vows of the Order of our Holy Mother St. Clare
